DR CRAIG DUVAL
Brisbane Implants
Dr Craig Duval is the driving force and visionary behind Brisbane Implants. He has over 27 years of experience in dental implantology and over 32 years of restoring smiles! Widely recognised as a leader in his field, his dedication and passion for dentistry have earned him prestigious awards and recognition, including the title of Platinum Invisalign Provider, a place in the President's Honour Role of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the prestigious LVI Rising Star Award for Outstanding Commitment to Education.
He actively participates in professional development and is a current or past member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Australian Endodontic Society and the International College of Oral Implantologists.
In 2025, Dr Craig Duval completed a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants through the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology and is planning to enrol in a Masters of Science in Implantology through Aston University. He is a clinical mentor for Nobel Biocare and assists on many of their courses. Brisbane Implants is also one of only 23 Nobel Biocare Centre’s of Excellence in Australia for the All on 4 Treatment Concept.

Dr Craig and his wife Katrina are the proud parents of four young adults, Connor, Ben, Brie, and Jacob. Their weekends are often filled with their family activities, celebrations, and participating in the community at Riverlife Baptist Church. Dr Craig is a massive Brisbane Lions fan, although he loves everything sport. He's also a huge Lego fan, and loves Marvel and action movies and reading! With a love for travel, particularly if it involves skiing, Dr Craig travels 10 - 12 weeks a year for lectures, courses and holidays.
BEN GABROVEC

Ben completed his B.Sc (Physio) at Curtin University and began his career at Quinns Physio while starting what would eventually become Move Forward Physiotherapy. He has been the Managing Partner at Move Forward Physiotherapy since those beginnings in 2007 working closely with his business partners to establish what is now the most trusted Physio company in Perth. In that time the group has expanded to 14 Physiotherapy clinics making Move Forward the number one provider of Physiotherapy care in Perth’s northern suburbs.
DR THOMAS GIBLIN
Bathurst Dental Specialists
Dr Giblin graduated from the University of Sydney’s Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours in 2004. He then worked in private practice for 2 years, before gaining acceptance to the University Of Texas Health Science Centre at San Antonio in their Graduate Advanced Prosthodontics 3 year residency program. Whilst there he gained a broad range of experiences, learning both traditional and the more cutting edge techniques. Dr Giblin is interested in many areas of dentistry, but has a heavy focus on dental implants, occlusion and aesthetic dentistry. Dr Giblin is also very interested in the technical aspect of prosthodontics and has his own full service dental laboratory, with the latest in sophisticated CAD/CAM technology.
Dr Giblin is also the member if many dental societies both in Australia and overseas. He lectures extensively both locally and internationally, and regularly runs his own educational programs on Occlusion, Implants, Advanced Treatment Planning and Removable Prosthodontics, and has authored 5 textbook chapters on restorative dentistry and implantology.
Owen’s journey with Thredbo began back in 2001, when he hit the slopes as a ski and snowboard instructor – even picking up telemarking to explore the backcountry long before it was on most people’s radar. Two decades later, he’s back with Thredbo’s backcountry guiding team, sharing his deep local knowledge and passion for venturing beyond the resort boundaries. Alongside guiding, Owen helps deliver backcountry condition reports for the Mountain Safety Collective and brings formal training in wilderness first aid, guiding and avalanche risk management to every trip.
DR NIGEL SOUTER
Waverley Endodontics
Dr Nigel Souter is a specialist Endodontist practicing in Glen Waverley in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. He obtained his dental degree from the University of Adelaide in 1997 and postgraduate qualification from the University of Melbourne in 2004. Nigel is a general stream fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons as well as a member in the Specialist field of Endodontics. Nigel is the past president of the Australian Society of Endodontology Victorian Branch and is the recent past-chair of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons VIC/TAS regional committee. Nigel has practiced as an endodontist in both the public and private sectors and has been a clinical demonstrator to postgraduate students at the University of Melbourne for over 12 years.
DR ZIBO WANGDING
The Endodontic Clinic
Zibo Wangding is a specialist endodontist practising in Doncaster and Bundoora, Melbourne. Originally from Canada, he completed his dental degree at the University of Melbourne before later returning to complete his specialist training in endodontics.
Zibo is a committee member of the Victorian Branch of the Australian Society of Endodontology and is involved in teaching dental students at the University of Melbourne. Outside of dentistry, Zibo enjoys travelling and is convinced that the best way to understand a city is through its food. He is currently well into his plan of eating his way through Asia, a project that visually appears to be progressing ahead of schedule.
MR RICHARD WOOD
ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON, PRECISION OMS
Richard is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in fulltime private practice in Geelong, Victoria. He has focused his practice over time on complex dental implant surgery and full arch implant treatments along with Orthognathic surgery for facial aesthetic and airway optimisation. He is an active member of the newly launched AOMI - Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantologists and is engaged in implant education both locally and internationally.
DR SIMON WYLIE
Geelong Prosthodontic Group
Simon is a long term member of ACAD, it is a registered specialist prosthodontist now practising in Geelong. Simon has an interest in all aspects of prosthodontics and he's planning to talk to the issue of developing emergence profiles of an implant supported crown. This seems to be an ever evolving aspect of implant dentistry and after working with implants for 3 decades he's convinced that it is a critically important aspect of long term biologic stability.
